Ride to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and back (83 miles)
Most of us stay at Jacobs Lake Inn although there are accommodations at the North Rim. Problem with North Rim is we dine together at Jacobs Lake Inn and start from there. But feel free. Let me know if you are into doing this trip so I can keep a tally, however you make your own reservations and just post up for dinner on Friday night and or for the ride on Saturday morning from Jacobs Lake. We usually have breakfast together on Saturday morning before the ride and there is a place on the start line to hurl before ascending "Death Hill", after that it's only 40 miles to go..........well, you need to come back too.
Kai and John know of a sensational restaurant out of town that if you want to take advantage of we will need to know so we can make reservations for

We go the week after Labor Day in Sept, this year Labor Day is on late so we are planning on the week of Sept 12. This will be a 5 day event and there is a lot of organization required for motels, dinners, SAG and so on. Kai, John and myself will coordinate but I did want to let you know. If you have done this trip in the past you know how much fun it was, if you have not and are about to you are in for a real treat. WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND!!!!!!!!!!
